Tod Pronto is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Newport, Vermont. To date, Tod has recorded three albums of original music: Nashville Stereo, recorded in Nashville, TN, for B-Venturous Records; his self-produced album, It Can’t All Be Wrong; and his most recent effort, Hide Away (From The Sun).
In addition to his solo work, Tod composes instrumental background music for television. His work has been featured on AMC, HBO, and The National Geographic Network, among others. His song “Money and a Suitcase” was the lead track on the Shut Eye Records compilation The United State of Americana Vol. 3, which reached #20 on the Roots Rock Airplay Report. Most recently, his album “Hide Away (From The Sun)” earned significant airplay nationwide across AAA, Independent, and College Radio stations.
Known for live shows that are funny, insightful, authentic, and energetic, Tod offers the perfect blend of modern and traditional folk. He has shared the stage with notable artists such as Ellis Paul, Jonathan Edwards, Livingston Taylor, and Ben Caplan.
